Bri grew up dancing at a local studio here in Utah at the early age of 5. She trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical. She was a member and team captain of the award winning drill team at Hillcrest High School, where they brought home state championship titles and national awards for both years she was on the team. Bri started teaching at Vision shortly after they opened in 2009 and later became the dance director for several years. Now that her daughter is old enough to be a member of one of Vision’s amazing competition teams she has rejoined the staff and could not be more excited!
Marki was born and raised in SLC where she began dancing before she could even walk, at least that’s what her mom tells her. She is trained in all areas of dance but specializes in jazz technique. Throughout her dance career, Marki had been a member and leader of many award winning teams including Hillcrest Drill Team, holding state and national championship titles, and the UVU Dance Team, national champions. In 2004 she was awarded the title of Miss Dance Drill Team Utah. Marki began teaching in 2004, after high school and has since taught dance/drill camps throughout Utah, as well as choreographed routines for high school teams and studios.
Along with being a teacher at Vision, Marki is a wife, mom, and makeup artist. She loves to inspire and touch the lives of other individuals, she believes that’s truly what is most important during our time here.
